The East Coast Quarter Horse Circuit is an independent organisation set up in 1994 to promote the Quarter Horse by increasing the number of AQHA Shows in the UK.

Each year the East Coast Circuit runs six AQHA shows. Classes are included for all levels of ability and in particular East Coast is keen to encourage Novice Youth and Novice Amateur Competitors.

Small Fry Classes - May and June Shows
Due to popular demand we will also be holding a Small Fry Walk/Jog pleasure class on the Saturday so that the young competitors will have classes on each day of the show.

Sequoia Western sponsor Saddle to winner of Novice Amateur Hi Point Champion Award
East Coast are pleased to announce a new sponsor and circuit award for 2009. Sequoia Western, (www.sequoiawestern.co.uk) have generously offered to award a new Continental Saddle to the Novice Amateur competitor who amasses the most points in novice amateur classes at the three East Coast Circuits (6 shows).

The Saddle is a Continental saddle with an engraved fender sponsored by Sequoia in conjunction with The Pullman Saddle Company. In order to put yourself in contention to ride away in this amazing trophy saddle all you have to do be a novice amateur competitor and enter classes.

Each class you enter you will earn East Coast points, which will be calculated at each circuit with the award being presented at the September Championship show.

 

Championship Day - Trail Champion
Sequoia have also generously sponsored an engraved belt buckle to be presented to the September Gala East Coast Trail Champion.

 

NSBA Classes - Open to All Western Breeds
To enter NSBA Classes All horses must be registered with a breed association that is recognized by the NSBA and listed below.

1. American Paint Horse Association
2. American Quarter Horse Association
3. Appaloosa Horse Club
4. Palomino Horse Breeders of America
5. International Buckskin Horse Association
6. Pinto Horse Association
7. Pony of America Club
8. American Buckskin Registry Association

The owner and rider must also be members of NSBA, day tickets can be purchased at the show for £7 but any points and cash prizes won will not count towards year end trophies and award programs.The East Coast Circuit is offering a great opportunity for the various western breeds registered in the UK to compete at a high level against each other in Trail, Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle. Small Fry Classes
The East Coast Circuit is pleased to announce that the Small Fry Circuit Award will be sponsored by RISK Ltd These classes are open to children 12 years and under, on any breed of horse or pony and can be led.
